1. I had to appear in court before a judge, twice! This caused me to get a criminal record.

This one is a Fact.
I had to appear in court because i didn´t have a ticket for the Electric Tram. In the Netherlands all students get a special travel card, and they had send me a letter that i would get it, and already kept money of my scolarship, but didn´t send me the card. So when i would take the tram, i would take that letter with me, as i didn´t have money to also buy tickets.
I refused to pay the fine, so in the end i had to appear before a judge. He found me guilty of traveling without a ticket and gave me the choice between a bigger fine or 24 hours in jail.
I have been to a police station 3 times to sit in jail for 24 hours but they send me away every time.
This little thing actually did give me a criminal record.

The 2nd time in court was because when i was in australia the roommate didn´t pay rent. Our landlord took it to court. I managed to set up a settlement and paid all the rent in parts.

2. I was a dancer in a gay club.

This one is also a fact.
I have been a dancer in “The Gay Palace” in Rotterdam when i was a student. I had set up this group with me and 2 male dancers. In the end the manager fired me because i was a girl. Since i was the driving force behind the group, it fell appart shortly after i left.

3. I have literally traveled around the world, the whole world.

This is the fib. I have not traveled the part between Sydney and San Francisco. I did stand in the ocean on both sides though.

4. The hight of my singing career was performing live for a radio show.

This is a fact. When i was in the blues duo “The blues Sisters” we performed live on the Radio. We sang an improvised song about Rotterdam. They loved it

5. I started my political career at the age of 16.

Fact
I was a member of the Green Party when i lived in Bergen op Zoom. At the age of 17 i was on the ballot for the states elections. I actually had to look up the year as i thought i was 16 when i was on the ballot, but there were no elections in the year i was 16.

Soooo.. what are the facts, which one is the fib?

She was a sweet piggy. I could cuddle her and she would just sit and enjoy it.
Sometimes i would let her on my desk while i was doing stuff on the computer.

A few weeks ago this picture even made it to dailysquee and she had her day of fame.

In november 2008 she got a cagemate when i bought a 2nd piggy because i found her so lonely.
Then in the summer of 2010 she started to get health problems. i knew she was an old piggy and nurtured her, hoping she would get better, but she didn’t.

This morning i heard a sudden sqeeeing from the livingroom. She was thrashing so i picked her up and held her. She calmed down a bit and than quietly died in my arms.

I will miss my little piggy but i know she had a good and long life.

This morning she came over and first we had some coffee and did some talking.
After a while it was time to get our bags and money and raid the market.
It was quite big this time and it didn’t take long for us to find some shinies.
Miek found a really cool copper drinking thing.
I found this small laminated silver goblet:

I was specifically looking for 2 small containers that could be closed that could hold salt and pepper (or some other herb) that i could use for the vortex.
About halfway the market i found what i was looking for.

Content we went back home, had lunch and more coffee. Sat on the balcony a bit, played with the cats and now Miekje is on her way back home again.

Total damage to the wallet: 1 euro (seriously, the goblet was 50 sents and the 2 inlaid copper containers were 50 cents for the 2.)

I made it to the top of the Mountain.

You know that feeling of tightness in your throat. You feel something there that you can’t seem to swallow down. For me that’s my feeling of stress. You feel your eyes tear, but the relief of a good cry won’t happen because you’re just not stressed enough to use that overflow.
When i was halfway, that’s how i felt. I thought i wouldn’t be able to finish, that i just couldn’t do it, it was too much, i was too tired.. blah blah.

So i had lunch, slapped myself and here is the result:

I fokking did it!

It’s done.. tidy.. I know where everything is, the dirty stuff is in the washing machine.

I rock. I’m drinking a very well deserved cold beer, enjoying my victory!

When i look at the room i get this uncomfortable feeling. I don’t like the mess i see but something is stopping me from tidying it up. It’s that “i want to but i can’t i can’t i can’t i can’t!” feeling that keeps winning all the time, instead of the “fuck this i’m going to do this shut up inner voice you loooooose!” one.

Now that i have the new little kittycat, i have another reason to sort out the room, because i would hate to see her get lost under or behind some stuff.
So today is the day. After i had my shower and breakfast i’m going to start sorting out my larp stuff (and making sure i have all my Nara stuff ready in a box for the upcoming event ) and tidy up the rest of the room.

Let’s see if i can get through this day without moments of sheer terror and panic

I do have most of those books on my wishlist to be read though.

Yesterday a friend got hacked and i reported what he took to the Game Master team. This morning i found the items in the mail.
Better said, i found the items _twice_ in the mail, including a very very very expensive epic gun that was taken.

I guess most people would just cheer and take all the items and not say a word to Blizzard about their mistake.
I just can’t do that. I have to be able to look myself in the eye about this.
I took the items from the first mail and returned them to the guild bank, than i made another ticket to the Game Master team, informing them that they send the items twice and that i left the 2nd mail in my inbox untouched.

I have no idea what they will do. Maybe they’ll delete the mail, maybe they’ll do nothing. But i did the right thing and reported their mistake and didn’t take advantage of it.
I’m such a goody 2 shoe.
