Poetry

Posted by Pascalle on September 7, 2010 in Uncategorized |

A few years ago i had a character named Aisha at the larp of Vortex Adventures.
I did a lot of writing for her. Letters but also some poetry.
I never published it except from on an in character forum, anonimously.

She was a girl who had grown up in a world where women were seen as less than normal people. When she came to the vortex, cast out by her own people she found out that she could be more than “just a woman”. She found her soulmate and a new world to live in.

About time to share some of those poems with the world.

Awakening

Life was a slumber
Never completely awake
Yet not fully asleep either
With nothing at stake

Protected from everything
No decision my own
Guided along my path
Nothing was unknown

Sudenly You were there
Shook me up inside
Showing me a different world
With my eyes opened wide

No longer do I know my path
Or where it is leading me
But afraid I am not
For my Brother You will be

My emotions wash over me
Like waves over the shore
One thing is certain now
I am not alone anymore

She was pulled into the chaos cultus “the needy and the hungry” which gave some awesome emotional roleplay. They managed to turn my character inside out and i loved every minute of it.

Closed

Open my eyes for I cannot see
Beyond the darkness in my Soul
Blinded by my Passion and Rage
How much longer must I fall?

Open my ears for I cannot hear
The wise words spoken to me
Deafening screams in my head
Pushing me to insanity

Open my mouth for I cannot speak
Of the secrets I have heard
Silenced by the Power of Truth
While I want to spread the word

Open my heart for I cannot feel
Everything is washed away
By salty Tears that will not stop
Until I accept and Pray
